A local Armed Resistance Group Attacks Myanmar Military Outpost In Tedim Town

The Zoland group has reportedly asserted that they have taken control of the police outpost, but there has been no official announcement to confirm this claim. The Myanmar army's 269th infantry unit is stationed in Tedim town and it is believed the resistance group aim to size it.

Zoland's PDF advised residents not to flee their houses, emphasizing their efforts to minimize civilian casualties. Despite this, as the Myanmar military launched indiscriminate attacks on residential areas, almost all the residents have evacuated to nearby villages. The indiscriminate shelling by the Myanmar military has killed once innocent civilian.

A week prior, the Chin National Army, along with other Chin resistance groups, sized Cikha and Tonzang town, which were previously claimed as territory by the Zomi Revolutionary Army-Eastern Command (ZRA-EC). However, reports indicate that the ZRA -EC have fled to Manipur in India where their head quarter is located.

The PDF Zoland claimed Tedim and Tonzang as their territory and released a statement not to conduct military operation in those areas.

The PDF-Zoland is a founding member of the Chin Brotherhood Alliance, which was recently established to offset the influence of the Chin National Army in Chin state.
