The Zomi Political Cooperation Committee (ZPCC) reported on February 9 that the Chin National Front (CNF) is attempting to conduct a covert meeting with the Military Council.

The Zomi Political Cooperation Committee (ZPCC) reported on February 9 that the Chin National Front (CNF) is attempting to conduct a covert meeting with the Military Council.

"The CNF has been spreading false propaganda against the Zomi Revolutionary Army (Eastern Command), and attacking us in a variety of ways. The Chin National Front, on the other hand, has already attempted to communicate surreptitiously with the Myanmar military council as they have done in the past" according to the statement.

ZPCC also accused the CNF of preventing them from joining the United Ethnic Federal Council (UNFC) under the Union Solidarity and Development government, and Union Peace Dialogue Committee (UPDJC) under the National Democratic Government. Furthermore, they were barred from joining the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) during the Spring Revolution.

ZPCC is the political wings of the ZRA (Eastern Command) and is allegedly working together with the Myanmar military council in many ways.
